Rowan Chamber and City of Salisbury Present 2026 Small Business Grants

The Rowan Chamber of Commerce is proud to once again partner with the City of Salisbury for the third year of the Small Business Assistance Grant Program. This year’s grant recipients were honored at the Small Business Trade Show, held on Thursday, April 23 at the Livingstone College School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts.

A total of 25 applications were submitted for the 2026 grant cycle. Recipients were selected through a competitive application process and approved by a review committee based on established program criteria.

“We are grateful to continue our partnership with the City of Salisbury on the small business grant program,” said Chamber President Elaine Spalding. “This year, a total of $30,000 was awarded to six small businesses, with each receiving $5,000 to help support and strengthen our local business community.”

Salisbury Mayor Tamara Sheffield announced the 2026 grant recipients during the trade show. This year’s awardees include:

  • Bigg on Natural Beauty – Andre & Equality Biggers
  • Chef Solutions – Chef Carl C. Brown
  • Creating Milestones – Jamie Miles
  • Dames Detailing, LLC – Damon J. Phillippe
  • Mama’s Kitchen – Martha Morris
  • Stitchin’ Post Gifts – Pam Hylton Coffield

The Small Business Trade Show is one of the Chamber’s largest networking events, offering a business-to-business expo that fosters meaningful connections among local professionals. Attendees also enjoyed door prizes from several exhibitors, along with food and refreshments throughout the event.
