Spectator & Attendee FAQs
Attendee Parking:
For attendees, parking is available for $10 in the Hedrick-Lambe Drive lot. Shuttles and trolleys will transport festival goers to and from the Shrine Club property.
Preferred parking is also available for $20 in the 40 & 8 lot, which is closer to the Shrine Club. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until the lot is full.
Handicap/Accessibility Parking:
Handicap/Accessibility Parking will be available near the main building for $5.
Team Captain, Sponsor, Vendor, Site Rep, Volunteer, and Venue Rep Parking:
Team captains, sponsors, vendors, site representatives, volunteers, and venue representatives will each receive one parking pass. Passes can be picked up at the Chamber office, located at 204 E. Innes Street.
East Rowan High School Athletics will be managing the parking areas. Parking fees will benefit East Rowan's football team. Cash is encouraged for parking, but card payment will also be available.
Entrance to the festival is free. Festival-goers can shop at a the variety of food/drink, craft, and service vendors.
No pets.
No coolers or outside alcoholic beverages.
Festival vendors may accept different forms of payment. However, some may not take debit or credit cards, so we recommend bringing cash just in case.
Miller's Ferry Fire Department will be providing emergency services on and off the water. A Novant Health Emergency Station will also be located near the beach-area on the right side of the property.
Temperatures during the Dragon Boat Festival could reach over 90 degrees. Please be sure to properly hydrate throughout the day. For more information visit: https://www.ready.gov/heat
Law enforcement and public safety officials will be located at the property and in the parking areas. Speak to the nearest officer or reach out to Festival staff if assistance is needed. For emergencies, call 911.

The Dragon Boat Festival features a wide variety of food and drink vendors—there’s something delicious for everyone to enjoy! Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at New Sarum or United Beverage.
Public restrooms (Port-A-Potties), along with central hand-washing stations, will be available in the middle of the property, near athlete village, as well as near the Shrine Club building.
